Like a Comfortable Old Shoe  |

| Ship was comfortably shabby, threadbare in areas and lived-in, but still lovely and elegant and for a smaller vessel (that fits through the Canal) was excellent. And I only gained 11 pounds. Any trip that you DON’T gain a pound a day is a good trip!! |
Pros: Food, entertainment, Canal itself, comfortably small ship
Cons: Shabby and needing refurbishing, limited activities

Fantanstic Cruise on Galaxy  |

| E. Mediterranean Hit Parade! |

| This was a wonderful cruise to ports I had long dreamed of visiting. The choice of Galaxy was more for the itinerary than for the ship but I came to appreciate the excxeptional service, classic and understated decor and fantastic cuisine provided by Galaxy and her staff as my teenage children and I visited the ports of my dreams. |
Pros: Fantastic itinerary, great cuisine and dining room staff, lovely ship, overall good service
Cons: stateroom smaller than same classification on newer ships, weak teen program
